Waze users, Apple Maps users, and Škoda drivers now receive real-time alerts from ambulances, fire trucks, and crash absorbers on Flemish roads

Brussels, Belgium — March 19, 2026 — The Mobilidata integration with Safety Cloud® by HAAS Alert is now live, delivering real-time alerts from emergency response vehicles and crash attenuators directly to drivers on Flemish roads.

Starting today, drivers using Waze, Apple Maps, or the Trafication app in Škoda vehicles will receive authenticated alerts when ambulances and fire trucks are responding nearby, as well as notifications about Truck-Mounted Attenuators (TMAs) protecting work zones and incident scenes.

From Partnership to Production

When HAAS Alert and Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer (AWV) announced their partnership in July 2025, HAAS Alert became the first service provider to integrate with the Mobilidata platform capable of bringing critical safety intelligence not only to smartphones, but directly to natively built-in vehicle systems from multiple automotive manufacturers.

Today, that vision becomes operational reality across specific regions in Flanders. With this integration, Safety Cloud by HAAS Alert consumes real-time alerts from Mobilidata, enabling active emergency vehicles and crash attenuators to directly alert nearby and approaching drivers on Flemish roads.

Public-Private Collaboration Delivering Results
